Dr. Luke C. Kahlich, artist/educator/administrator, who holds degrees in Latin American Studies, Theatre Arts, and Dance has taught and choreographed in the UK, throughout the U.S. at numerous regional festivals, universities, civic companies, professional auditions, and outdoor drama. He worked as a reviewer for the New York State Council on the Arts and the Kansas Arts Commission as well as critic for the NYC tradepaper Showbusiness. As a member on the faculties of Texas Tech University, New York University, Kansas State University, Union Institute, Temple University and currently Nova Southeastern University and Indian River State College he has choreographed over 140 concert dance works as well as directed and choreographed musicals, opera and events. Recently retired from academia, Kahlich seeks out opportunities in theatrical settings. He continues to work on an ongoing telematic performance/choreography project (now in its tenth year) with dance colleague Dr. Pauline Brooks of John Moores University in Liverpool, UK and musicians at Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland.
